Leadership event planned for Corning-area women
February 13, 2020 | TS Bank
Corning, IA – A leadership event geared toward women in the Corning-area will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. at Corning Winery and Vineyard.
TS Bank created LeadingWELL, an event with the tagline ‘women empowering local leaders’ in 2019 as a way to engage the women of our community. Over 110 women attended that first annual LeadingWELL event in Council Bluffs, Iowa. This year, the TS Bank hopes to expand the reach of the event series and host the first-ever event of its kind in Corning.
The event’s supporting sponsors TS Prosperity Group, Revela and Vintage Park Apartments have been working with TS Bank employee Kelly Herring to make the event come to fruition.
“We are excited to host the first LeadingWELL event in Corning,” said Kelly Herring, AVP of Consumer Credit at TS Bank. “We have a great panel of local women in diverse careers that will be speaking that evening. This would be the perfect time to grab a friend or colleague and come get some advice and tips to help you succeed not only in your career but in life as well.”
Panelists for this event include, Kristi Drake, Co-Owner and Feedyard Manager of Balance4wrd; Alaina Lundgren, Principal of Enarson Elementary in Villisca; Anne Greenwalt, Owner of Carver’s Ridge in Corning and Guthrie Center; Marilea Mullen, Public Relations Manager of CHI Mercy Hospital; and the discussion moderator will feature Lona Smart, Facilitator from Revela.
The event will kick off at Corning Winery and Vineyard located at 2300 St. Highway 148, Corning, Iowa, with networking from 4:30 p.m. – 5:15 p.m., including light appetizers provided by TS Bank and refreshments provided by Vintage Park Apartments. The program will run from 5:15 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., where attendees will hear from our inspiring local panelists.
Seating is limited, so to purchase tickets and reserve your seat, go to tsbank.com/leadingwellcorning or visit the Facebook event.
