Local bank donates $27,000 to support child development center in Griswold

Treynor, Iowa, September 27, 2024 – TS Bank is excited to announce a donation of $27,000 to the Lakin Foundation Child Development Center of Griswold, a new early childcare facility that opened this summer.
The Noble Initiative Foundation, with the help of numerous community volunteers, worked tirelessly to bring this $3.8 million childcare facility to fruition. The mission of the Noble Initiative Foundation is to impact families in Griswold and the surrounding communities by providing high-quality and accessible childcare center, support a strong school system, increase local workforce and expand affordable housing.
Located just south of the Griswold Elementary School, the center is now at capacity and serves 80+ children, ranging from six weeks to four years old, and offers full-time, drop-in, and before/after school care for elementary-aged children.

“We are so grateful for the amazing support from TS Bank. This type of investment will make a lasting impression on so many families in Griswold, Cass County and beyond," said Chelsea Dvorak, Lakin Foundation Child Development Center of Griswold Director.
