“A milestone of 100 years is a warranted opportunity to pause and reflect upon the impact a servant-minded company, like TS Bank can have on local communities. I can only wonder of the extended indirect influence the Guttau family has made by setting the standard of service to others and how it has had a multiplicative effect by inspiring others in the community to follow their lead,” said Kevin Forristall, President of TS Banking Group. “I am excited for the celebrations ahead this year, and the opportunity to hear many inspiring stories of lives impacted by this great company.”
As a community bank, TS Bank is an integral part of both the local community and economy. TS Bank is dedicated to community reinvestment and gives 10% of its pre-tax income back to the community. Additionally, the bank is committed to teaching financial literacy, hosting educational events and partners with local organizations and nonprofits. Since 2007, TS Bank has granted nearly $5 million dollars through these efforts and impacted over 140,000 students and adults through financial literacy.
The company culture, originally established by Mick and Judy Guttau over the past 45 years, is still thriving today and is now stewarded by the next generation with Josh Guttau as CEO. Kevin Forristall serves as bank President. TS Bank is a proud independent, family-owned community bank, and this 100-year anniversary is a key milestone in its commitment to the communities it serves to DO MORE.
“As a purpose-driven organization, employees find strength in the company’s story and are motivated to have more impact. Mick and Judy’s dream is now amplified through each one of our employees and clients," said Kelsey Stupfell, Director of Public Relations at TS Banking Group. “The Guttau family has encouraged us to be part of something bigger and to truly live for others. They inspire us to give back in any way we can – whether that be financially, through volunteer hours or board service. We know for every penny saved, every child who learns the value of a dollar, every employee who is constantly improving, and every thriving community, we are fulfilling our mission.”
