TS Bank has partnered with The 712 Initiative and Habitat for Humanity in Council Bluffs to help local neighborhoods with a program called AMP for Neighborhoods. AMP was created to assist homeowners complete curb appeal projects and home exterior improvements. In 2023, 83 applications were received, and 25 projects were selected Since the program’s inception in 2021, over 75 homeowner projects have been assisted.
Projects Awarded
Applicants can apply via a PDF application, and the AMP 2022 deadline was June 30. In 2021, recipients in the Council Bluffs area were awarded a grand total of $253,887.04 in prize money for their particular project. Original funding came from several local businesses, and thanks to an anonymous donor the program received a major boost in its inaugural year. With the ongoing partnerships and the generosity of this donor, the AMP program continues to thrive in year two.

2021 AMP Official Rules and Regulations for Council Bluffs 1. AMP is hosted by The 712 Initiative and sponsored by TS Bank, Member FDIC, Equal Housing Lender, 15 E Main St., Treynor IA, 51575. AMP is open to the legal residents of the United States, who are at least 18 years of age (“Entrant”). Entrant or nominee must be the homeowner. 2. No purchase or donation is necessary in order to enter or win. Applications may be sent via email or hand-delivery to TS Bank in Council Bluffs. 3. Chances of winning depend on the total number of qualified entries. Multiple winners may be selected. 4. The winner(s) will be awarded a prize of up to $5,000. Winnings will be paid out directly to a contractor, for the awarded amount only, upon receipt of invoice, if applicable. If no contractor is needed, winnings will be paid out in the form of a check directly to the applicant. 5. Projects such as splash pads, new parks or bike trails will not be considered for AMP. Projects such as a new front door, yard clean up, new siding, shingle replacement, sidewalk repair, etc. are examples of ideal projects. 6. The event is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law. Any and all federal, state, and local taxes and fees on prizes, including, but not limited to, cash prizes, are the sole responsibility of the winner. 7. Chances of winning depend on the total number of qualified entries. 8. In order to participate entrants must sign the agreement. 9. Employees, officers, directors, and any immediate family members, of The 712 Initiative or TS Bank and its affiliates, are not eligible to participate. 10. All decisions and interpretations of rules, regulations, and final determination of winners shall be made by TS Bank, The 712 Initiative and selection committee.
