TS Bank now open in Ames

Ames, Iowa, May 17, 2023 - TS Bank is excited to announce the recent opening of its eighth banking location on 402 Lincoln Way in Ames, Iowa. This location opened as a loan production office in June 2020 and as a full-service branch location on Monday, April 3, 2023. A formal grand opening celebration and ribbon cutting will be held in September.
The bank location, built in 1996, received new exterior signage, a new video ATM and partial interior remodel of the approximately 5,000 square-foot complex. A new digital sign will be installed early this summer.
The space includes an area for new deposit accounts and safe deposit boxes as well as convenient drive-thru access in the form of a Video ATM. There is currently availability to rent various sizes of safe deposit boxes. Acquired by TS Banking Group in December 2019 from Great Southern Bank, the property is located at the corner of Lincoln Way and Washington Avenue, positioned between major thoroughfares Duff and Grand Avenues.

Later this summer, TS Bank plans to be part of the RAGBRAI festivities in Ames on Tuesday, July 25. Additionally, the bank will host a large grand opening celebration on Friday, September 1 from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Expanding to the Ames market provides TS Bank with a central location to assist in expansion across Iowa. This venture will allow TS Bank to serve clients and grow loans, deposits, investment and wealth management clients in the central Iowa corridor.
With this growth, Kelli Hecker was hired as branch manager in Ames and will ensure delivery excellent service to clients and prioritizing community involvement with the team. She has an AA in Business Administration from Hawkeye Community College along with a BS in Marketing from Iowa State University. She has over 15 years of banking experience including additional various roles as banker, service manager and assistant branch manager.
