This location opened as a loan production office in June 2020 and as a full-service branch location on April 3, 2023. A formal grand opening celebration and ribbon cutting was held in September 2023. This full-service location features an exterior Video ATM that converts to a 24-hour ATM after-hours, in the drive-thru.

Sumit Patel - VP of Business Banking
Sumit Patel is Vice President of Business Banking at TS Bank’s Ames location, bringing over 16 years of experience in financial services with a strong background in personal banking, client relationship management, sales and commercial lending. A native of Woodward, Iowa, Sumit holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Management and Marketing from Iowa State University. Sumit is active in the Ames community, serving on the board of First Tee Central Iowa and supporting causes like the American Cancer Society’s Coaches vs. Cancer and The Sammy Charity Scramble, a golf tournament he co-hosts with his wife, Logan. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, exploring local restaurants and spending time with family and friends.

Kelli Hecker - Branch Manager, AVP, Ames
Kelli joined TS Bank in December of 2022 as Branch Manager of our Ames location. She has 16 years of banking experience ranging from teller to branch manager. She received her Bachelor's of Science Degree in Marketing from Iowa State University, is a graduate of TS Bank’s Transformational Leader Academy and is currently part of Leadership Ames Class 37. Outside of work, Kelli loves to read, travel, spend time with friends and family and attend Iowa State athletic events.
